History

The Department of History was established in 1991 along with the establishment of the college. Dr. Sanjay G. Thawale was in charge of this department from 1993 to 2024. This department has produced many excellent students till now. Dr. Yamuna W. Rewatkar has done Ph.D. in History and has cleared the SET examination from our own Career Guidance and Counselling Cell. Like all other departments, this department also follows effective teaching and evaluation methods. The post of this department is vacant after the retirement of Dr. Thawale.
