History

The Department of History was established with the establishment of the College itself in 1991. Dr. Sanjay G. Thawale has been manning the department since 1993. The department has produced many good students so far. Dr. Yamuna W. Rewatkar— who holds a Ph.D. degree in History and who has cleared SET from our own Career Guidance and Counselling Cell— is one of the products of this department. Like all other departments, this department also follows effective teaching and evaluation methods.
