Additional information about conferences organized by the college:

Two departments of the college, namely Department of Political Science and Department of Geography organized UGC sponsored National Conferences in the academic year 2014-15. The topic of the one-day conference organized on January 7, 2015 by Political Science department was Integrated Rural Development through Panchayat Raj while the department of Geography organized two-day conference on January 8-9, 2015 on Landless Labour & Agriculture Development in the Context of Climate Change. Unfortunately, none of the departments received any grants from the UGC and college had to bear the entire expenses.
