Achievements and Awards 

  • 1998-99: Received hundred percent salary grant from the State Government of Maharashtra
  • 1999-2000: The college received its first full time (in-service) Principal in the form of Dr. B. P. Wankhede who also represented the college in the Academic Council of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • 2001-02: M.A. (Marathi) and M.A. (Sociology) programmes were introduced in the college
  • Jyoti Chandrabhanji Nimkar represented the college at the All India Inter University Cricket Tournament (Women) held in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu
  • Preeti Parasramji Tabhane represented the college
  • 2002-03: Mr. Suchet Manoharrao Shende and Mr. Mabud S. Pathan represented the University at the National Korfball Tournament held in Gondia (M.S.) and Ms. Minakshi M. Shrote represented Nagpur district at the Junior Maharashtra State Korfball Championship held at Gondia (M.S.)
  • Chhaya Manikarao Kale and Ms. Kirti Sureshrao Pawar were jointly awarded the Shri Shankarrao Daulatrao Gedam Prize for obtaining the highest percentage of marks in university examinations in Marathi Literature from rural area of Nagpur
  • 2003-04: Ms. Seema N. Patil, Ms. Manjusha D. Kawadkar, Ms. Sandhya M. Gajbhiye, Mr. Atish S. Lanjewar and Mr. Amol B. Asole represented Maharashtra state at the Senior State Korfball Tournament held at Gondia (M.S.)
  • Shraddha Keshaorao Ganorkar topped M.A. (Marathi) examination conducted by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur and bagged a Gold Medal
  • 2004-05: The college was accredited by NAAC
  • 2005-06: Prof. Pramod Wadate won election to the Board of Studies in Geography of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • 2006-07: Prof. Pramod Wadate was awarded Ph.D. in Geography by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • 2009-10: The college shifted from a school building to our own sprawling campus
  • The college was accorded Permanent Affiliation for B.A. by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • 2010-11: Dr. Pramod Wadate won election to the Board of Directors of Maharashtra Bhugol Parishad – a State Level Body of Geography Teachers
  • Rahul Shashikant Shrikhande won the Second Prize at an intercollegiate Geet Gayan competition organized by Dhanawate National College, Nagpur
  • 2011-12: Principal Dr. M. V. Kolhe won election to the Board of Studies in Sociology of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • 2012-13: Mr. Dhananjay Deote was awarded Ph.D. in Library Science by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • Librarian Dr. Deote’s Minor Research Project was sanctioned by U.G.C.
  • Sanjay Thawale was awarded Ph.D. in History by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • 2013-14: Department of Library of the college organized a National Level Seminar
  • 2014-15: Mr. Suraj V. Satpute represented the University in Volleyball at the Ashwamedh Inter University Tournament at Aurangabad (M.S.) and Mr. Shubham S. Shrikhande represented the University at the West Zone Inter University Kabaddi Tournament held at Amravati (M.S.)
  • Department of Political Science and Department of Geography of the college organized one National Level Conference each
  • Ajiet Jachak and Prof. Ashwini Khapre were awarded Ph.D. in English and Political Science respectively by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • 2015-16: Dr. Ajiet Jachak published his first book Step Up II: Improve Your English which is prescribed as a Textbook in the subject Compulsory English for B.A. Part II students by the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • 2016-17: Prof. Liladhar Kharpuriye was awarded Ph.D. in Economics by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • Roshan L. Dakhole represented the University at State Level Inter University Ashwamedh Volleyball Tournament held in Parbhani (M.S.) and Mr. Shubham S. Shrikhande represented the University team at West Zone Inter University Kabaddi Tournament held in Amravati (M.S.)
  • Ajiet Jachak was appointed on the Advisory Editorial Board of Cyber Literature International Online Journal in Literature, Humanities and Communication Technologies – a multi-disciplinary Peer Reviewed Open Access UGC-listed Journal
  • 2017-18: Dr. Ajiet Jachak won elections to the Senate and Board of Studies in English of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur from the Teachers’ Consistency
  • Ajiet Jachak was nominated by the Hon’ble Governor of Madhya Pradesh to the Board of Studies in English of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences, Mhow, district Indore
  • Ankita Bhemade represented the University at State Level Inter University Ashwamedh Kabaddi Tournament held in Dapoli (M.S.)
  • Ajiet Jachak won election to the office of Executive Member of Maharashtra Federation of University and College Teachers’ Organizations (MFUCTO) – a professional body of teachers at the State Level
  • 2018-19: Prof. Vinod Bhalerao was awarded Ph.D. in Marathi by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
  • Pramod Wadate was nominated a member to the Board of Studies in Geography of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
